William Vera

Lead Animator at Sledgehammer Games

William Vera has a diverse work experience in the animation industry. William started off as a Contract Character Animator at Panic Button in 2012, where they animated biped and quadruped characters for a shipped title. William also worked with directors, supervisors, programmers, and designers to ensure the desired performance and ease of movement for the Xbox Kinect.

In 2012, Vera also worked as a Contract Animator at MoontowerVFX, where they animated characters for a cut scene in a Zynga Bingo game. William closely collaborated with their supervisor to achieve the desired style, personality, and storytelling performance. William also created blend shapes and basic rigs for biped characters.

From 2013 to 2014, Vera worked as a Contract Cinematic Animator at Edge of Reality, creating cinemas and gameplay animations for "Transformers: Rise of the Darkspark". William also posed, prepared, lit, and rendered characters for the character select screen and marketing purposes.
