Ruth Hanniffy is a seasoned professional in biodiversity and wildlife conservation with extensive experience in various roles. Currently serving as a Biodiversity Officer at Sligo County Council since June 2023, Ruth has previously worked as a Species Conservation Officer for Vincent Wildlife Trust from 2015 to 2023, focusing on bat and carnivore programs in Ireland. Ruth also held the position of Fisheries Assistant at Inland Fisheries Ireland, contributing to monitoring fish populations under the EU Water Framework Directive in 2014.
