Alex Baiada

Alex Baiada has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. They most recently worked at Sling & Stone as a Social Media Specialist, starting in March 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Junior Social Media Specialist at the same company from November 2020 to February 2022.

Before joining Sling & Stone, Alex worked at Foxtel Media as a Brand and Content Partnerships Executive from April 2019 to November 2020. They also gained managerial experience at Gloria Jean's Coffees, where they worked as a Manager from October 2016 to June 2019.

In addition to these roles, Alex has experience in content and brand marketing. They worked as a Content and Brand Marketing Assistant at Corporate International Management from November 2018 to April 2019, where they were responsible for developing brand guidelines, executing communications and media on social channels, and creating content and copywriting for social media.

Alex also interned at JOY. as a Digital Intern from April 2018 to September 2018, where they created original content for social media, produced monthly content calendars, scheduled paid and organic social content, and assisted in developing social media and content strategies for clients.

Furthermore, Alex gained experience in media production while interning at 40K Group as a Media Intern in February 2018. They contributed to the production of a longitudinal micro-documentary series by selecting talent, developing interview questions, conducting interviews with the assistance of a translator, and translating and transcribing interview footage.

Earlier in their career, Alex worked as a Senior Crew Member at McDonald's from May 2013 to August 2017. They also interned at Drifter as a Creative Intern from November 2016 to February 2017, where they assisted with the planning and implementation of paid social activity, prepared campaign analytics reports, and edited promotional video content for various clients.

Their work experience began as an Administrative Assistant at All Plans Design and Drafting from May 2014 to October 2016.

From 2010 to 2015, they attended Parramatta Marist High School and obtained a Higher School Certificate.

In 2014 and 2015, they attended Catholic Education Diocese of Parramatta and earned a Certificate III in Information, Digital Media and Technology.

From 2016 to 2018, they studied at the University of Technology Sydney, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Communication, specializing in Media Arts and Production & Public Communication.

In March 2022, they completed a Mental Health First Aider certification from Mental Health First Aid Australia.

Currently, from 2022 to 2024, Alex is pursuing a Bachelor of Psychology degree at Macquarie University.
