Rosario Garcia Gil

Rosario Garcia Gil is an experienced professional in the fields of urban greening and agricultural sciences. As the Founder of Vertisà since 2021, Rosario has focused on vertical urban greening solutions. Additionally, Rosario serves as the Vice Dean for Internationalisation at the Faculty of Forestry of the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences since March 2019. With a long-standing academic career at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, including roles as an Associate Professor since 2010 and a researcher at SLU Umeå since 2004, Rosario has contributed significantly to the field. Rosario's early career includes a postdoctoral position at the University of Oulu from 2000 to 2004. Rosario holds a Master's degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Valencia.
