Benjamin Carroll

Benjamin Carroll has a diverse work experience in the agricultural industry. Benjamin is currently serving as the Operations and Facilities Lead at Smallhold since July 2021. Prior to that, they ran their own agricultural consulting business, Carroll Agricultural Consulting, which they started in January 2021.

Before starting their consulting business, Benjamin worked as the Operations Manager at La Flaca Urban Farms from June 2016 to December 2020. Benjamin played a key role in managing the operations of the farm during this period.

Benjamin's journey in the agricultural sector started with A New Hope Farm, where they served as the Owner/Operator. Benjamin co-founded this small farm in December 2014 and was responsible for developing the business idea and establishing its operational structure. Benjamin'sinvolvement with A New Hope Farm lasted until May 2016.

Benjamin Carroll attended Naugatuck Valley Community College from 2014 to 2016, where they obtained an Associate of Arts and Sciences - AAS degree in Horticultural Science.
