Carter Humphrey has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. In 2015, they started as a Favor Runner at Favor. From 2015 to 2017, they held various positions at College Houses, including Event Team Member, Education Coordinator at Pearl Street Co-op, and Newsletter Editor at Pearl Street Co-op. In 2017, they joined Instacart as an In-Store Shopper and Delivery Driver. In the same year, they also started working as a Production Coordinator at Cinnamon Cow LLC until 2020. In 2018, they worked as a Stagehand at Above the Line for a few months before becoming a Freelance Stagehand until 2020. In 2019, they briefly worked as a Crew Member at Texas Farmers’ Market. In 2020, they worked as a Market Associate at Sustainable Food Center and currently holds the position of R&D Project Manager at Smallhold.

Carter Humphrey completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from The University of Texas at Austin from 2012 to 2017. In 2016, they participated in a study abroad program at DIS, focusing on the Cognitive Neuroscience of Consciousness. Prior to their university studies, Carter was a Success Scholar at Carroll Senior High School from 2008 to 2012. In addition to their formal education, they obtained a certification in ServSafe Food Handler from StateFoodSafety in March 2019.
