Serge Bery

Serge Bery has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Serge is currently working at Smarsh as the Head of Cyber Security since February 2022. Before that, they were with Micro Focus as the Head of Cyber Security from May 2021 to February 2022. Serge also had a role with Micro Focus (formerly HP / Hewlett Packard Enterprise) as the Director of Cyber Security from September 2019 to May 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Hewlett-Packard as the Director of Operations, where they were responsible for operations services supporting a large storage and application cloud with mission-critical data. Serge worked at Hewlett-Packard from 2012 to November 2019. Before joining Hewlett-Packard, Serge Bery held various roles at companies such as Aircell, JP Morgan Chase, Bank One, Allscripts, Motorola, and Microsoft, contributing to their extensive industry experience.

Serge Bery obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering (CompE) from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, attending from 1993 to 1997. Serge also holds additional certifications including Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) from ISACA (to be obtained in 2023), Certified Information Systems Auditor® (CISA) from ISACA (obtained in 2019), Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute (obtained in 2003), and ITIL v3 from ITIL Certified (year of obtaining not specified).
