Tom Bachrach

Tom Bachrach's work experience begins in 1990 with a role as a Software Developer and Hardware Reseller at Avetel. Tom then worked as a Drexel Intern/Co-op Student at PRICE Systems in 1992. From 1993 to 1997, they served as a Systems Associate at Merck. Tom joined IBM Global Services in 1997 as a Systems Architect until 2000. Tom then worked at Citigroup, Inc. as a VP, focusing on Microsoft Exchange and Archiving Architecture from 2000 to 2012. Tom continued their career at UBS as a Director, specializing in Compliance and Retention Architecture. Tom then worked at Barclays as the Compliance Technology Electronic Communications Surveillance and Monitoring Team Lead in 2013. From 2014 to 2020, they served as an Executive Director at Morgan Stanley, where they led the Compliance Archive, Search, and Social Engineering Teams. Tom used various platforms such as Micro Focus Digital Safe, Aurea Jive, Lucidworks Fusion/Solr, and Proofpoint Socialware/Patrol. Tom joined Micro Focus in 2020 as a Lead Principal Consultant before taking on the role of Lead Client Principal at Smarsh in 2022.

Tom Bachrach earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from Drexel University, which they attended from 1990 to 1993. Prior to that, they obtained a diploma from Cherry Hill High School East, where they studied from 1979 to 1983. In addition, Tom Bachrach holds a certification in IT Service Management, specifically the ITIL Foundation Certificate, which they received from EXIN in 2012.
