Gillian Kerr

Gillian Kerr is currently working as a Senior Research Associate at Smart Prosperity Institute and runs their own consulting business as an Ecological Economics Consultant. Gillian is also an Adjunct Professor at Royal Roads University, teaching Economics for Decision-making. Previously, Gillian held positions at The Conference Board of Canada, Dalhousie University, McGill University, REIN Canada, Municipal Affairs, and the Government of Alberta, where Gillian focused on biodiversity, ecosystem services, and environmental economics. Kerr holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Interdisciplinary Graduate Studies from the University of Calgary, a Master's degree in Environment and Management from Royal Roads University, and Bachelor's degrees in Commerce and Applied Science.
