Jonathan Friedman

Jonathan Friedman has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Jonathan is currently serving as the Head of BizOps, Strategy & Analytics at SmartBiz Loans since May 2021. Prior to this, they were the CEO & Founder of TrueNxus from March 2019 to May 2021, where they created a cloud-based SaaS product for project management and successfully managed a team of 15 across different departments.

Before TrueNxus, Jonathan held the position of Director, Internal Consulting (Office of the CEO) at Fiserv from August 2016 to June 2020. Jonathan was responsible for driving strategic initiatives aligned with the company's objectives and oversaw a portfolio of initiatives. Notably, they directed the setup of a Revenue Synergy Office for Fiserv's acquisition of First Data, identifying significant revenue synergies. Jonathan also led a team in analyzing products and calculated a $1 million savings opportunity.

Prior to Fiserv, Jonathan worked as a Director, Strategy & Transactions at EY-Parthenon from May 2011 to July 2016. In this role, they advised senior executives at Fortune 500 companies and Private Equity firms on strategy, mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and restructuring.

Jonathan's career started at Accenture in October 2008 as a Consultant. Jonathan provided strategic advice to senior executives on post-merger integration, digital transformation, and business intelligence. Notably, they consulted a global investment bank on the post-merger integration of a $13.5 billion wealth management firm.

Jonathan Friedman earned their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Economics, Finance, and Strategy from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, which they completed in 2015. Prior to that, they received their Bachelor's Degree in International Business from The Ohio State University in 2008.
