Kian Jalali

Kian Jalali has a strong background in data engineering, with experience in various companies. Kian is currently working as a Data Engineer at Smartech since October 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Sanjagh as a Data Engineer from November 2019 to June 2022.

In 2019, Kian was a CO-Founder of EMOZ, where they developed an application similar to Instagram for buying and selling items. Kian managed the sales process until the items were delivered to the customers.

From February 2018 to January 2019, Kian worked as a Data Engineer at Miras Technologies. Their role involved crawling, extracting, and cleaning raw data from websites. Kian also utilized AI/Deep Learning and NLP-based engines developed by their team to process and index the data into Elastic-Search for a search engine. Additionally, they worked on other BigData solutions.

Kian's previous experience includes working as a Scala Developer at ModernPal, where they designed APIs, wrote CRUDs, and deployed tasks with Scala. Kian held this position from May 2017 to December 2017.

Before that, Kian served as the Team Leader of BiSTGeeks at BistGeeks from May 2016 to June 2017.

Kian Jalali received their Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Islamic Azad University, where they studied from 2015 to 2020. In addition to their formal education, Kian obtained several certifications in various technical fields. Kian completed a course on Distributed Messaging Platforms (Reactive Architecture) from IBM in October 2022 and a course on Building Scalable Systems from IBM in September 2022. In July 2020, Kian obtained a professional certification in "Akka for Scala" from Lightbend, Inc. Kian also completed a professional certification in "Akka-Stream for Scala" from Lightbend, Inc. in March 2020. Kian further obtained certifications in Reactive Architecture Foundations, Reactive Microservices, Domain Driven Design, Reactive Architecture, and Principles of Reactive Programming from IBM in 2020 and 2019. Additionally, they acquired a certification in IEEEXterme from IEEE in October 2016.
