Mark O'Donnell is a seasoned analytics professional with extensive experience in data-driven roles. Currently serving as Head of Data and Director of Analytics at SmarterTravel since August 2017, Mark leads product analytics for SmarterTravel Hotels and Media, and has developed a comprehensive four-year AI-oriented product roadmap. Mark's career includes launching and managing SEM teams that achieved significant daily revenue growth, as well as managing a team of analysts during a merger. Prior to SmarterTravel, Mark held the position of Senior Portfolio Administrator at U.S. Bank, where exemplary financial transaction processing and client communication skills were demonstrated, earning multiple accolades. Mark also contributed as a columnist for The Sports Quotient, focusing on soccer analysis. Mark holds dual Bachelor's degrees in Applied Mathematics and Mathematics from Bowdoin College, where research experience was also gained in chemistry.
