Alison Cannon

Alison Cannon has extensive experience in the banking and financial services industry, currently serving as Senior Vice President and Corporate Relationship Manager at SmartBank since October 2022. Prior to this role, Alison held the position of Senior Vice President in Commercial Banking at First Horizon Bank from June 2018 and Senior Vice President Commercial Relationship Manager at FirstBank from October 2015 to May 2018. Earlier career experiences include serving as Premier Banking Officer at BancorpSouth and Project Manager/Business Development Strategy at Panorama Public Relations. Alison’s background in commercial real estate lending includes significant positions at RBC and First Commercial Bank, where management of sizable loan portfolios and relationship development in the commercial real estate sector were key responsibilities. Alison began a career in banking as a Commercial Loan Officer at Bank of Alabama and as a Commercial Loan Specialist at BancorpSouth. Alison holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Management from Troy University.
