Melvin Torres

Melvin Torres has a diverse work experience that spans multiple industries. Melvin is currently working as a Facilities Operations Associate at SmartLabs since November 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Sarepta Therapeutics as a Shipping and Receiving Specialist from February 2019 to December 2020. Before that, Melvin was the Founder and CEO of ZwiftPay, a company specializing in AI and computer vision-based payments for gas stations, drive-thrus, and parking garages, from August 2014 to September 2018. Melvin also has experience in the defense industry, having worked as an Inspector and Assembler at Raytheon Missiles & Defense from May 2013 to March 2014. Additionally, Melvin has interned as an Investment Intern at RCG LLC in 2012 and worked as a Bank Teller at Citizens Bank from July 2011 to November 2011.

Melvin Torres earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management from Bentley University. Prior to that, they attended Lawrence High School from 2006 to 2010, where they studied Business/Managerial Economics in the fields of Business Management and Finance. In 2008, they also briefly attended Phillips Academy to study Astronomy.
