Pavel Potáček

Pavel Potáček has worked in the IT industry since 2010. Pavel started their career as the Co-Owner and Web Developer of Merengues.cz, a website for Czech fans of Real Madrid, running on PHP 7 and Nette Framework 2. In 2012, they joined ISC MENDELU,o.s. as an IT Team Member. In 2014, they moved to Smartsupp as a Lead Frontend Developer, where they built a high-performance chat widget in Svelte and Typescript used by thousands of websites. Pavel also developed the Smartsupp dashboard in Typescript, React, Redux and using Websockets, as well as the account management, chat settings and billing system using Braintree payment gateway. In 2023, they joined Smartlook as a Frontend Developer.

Pavel Potáček attended Mendel University in Brno from 2010 to 2016 and obtained an Ing. degree in Automatizace řízení a informatika. Prior to that, they attended Střední škola informačních technologií a sociální péče, Brno, Purkyňova 97 from 2005 to 2009.
