Tatyana Chertok

Tatyana Chertok is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in engineering management. Currently serving as VP of Engineering at Smartsheet since June 2024, Tatyana previously held the role of Sr. Director of Engineering at Handshake from June 2023 to July 2024. Prior to that, Tatyana was the Head of Engineering at Meta from June 2020 to June 2023 and served as Sr. Engineering Manager at Amazon from June 2015 to June 2020. Tatyana's career also includes a position as Director of Software Engineering at Merrill Corporation between April 2012 and June 2015, and a tenure as Senior Developer/ Tech Lead at Barnes & Noble, Inc. from February 2003 to March 2012. Tatyana holds a Master's degree in Information Technology from Kiev State University in Kiev, Ukraine.
