Marta García Roig

Marta García Roig has extensive work experience in the field of information technology. Marta currently holds the position of IT Director at SMILICS Technologies. Prior to this, they worked as the IS Infrastructure & Communications Manager at DABA, the exclusive distributor of Nespresso. Marta also served as an Information Technology Advisor at Technica Engineering GmbH and as an IT Manager at Technica Electronics. Before that, Marta worked as the IS Technology Manager at IDNEO and as an IT Manager at Odournet. Marta started their career as a Project Leader at ASLOGIC and as an IT Manager at SAF UAB, affiliated with the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. Marta has gained experience in managing IT budgets, overseeing technical teams, selecting and managing IT providers, and contributing to project leadership.

Marta García Roig has a Master's degree in Cybersecurity and Privacy from Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, obtained between 2023 and 2025. Marta also holds a degree in Computer Science from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, completed in 2010. Marta has completed a DevOps Management of IT Architectures program at La Salle BCN. Additionally, they have a Technical Engineer degree in Management Computer Science from Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, achieved in 2006. Marta's educational background also includes a Graduate degree in Business Sciences from Universitat Pompeu Fabra in 1998. Marta has obtained certifications as a Certified ScrumMaster from Scrum Alliance in 2017 and an ITIL Foundation certificate in IT Service Management from AXELOS Global Best Practice in 2016.
