Cheree Johnston

Cheree Johnston has extensive work experience in human resources and leadership roles. Cheree is currently the Head of People at SmithFoods, Inc. and previously worked as the Director of Human Resources Operations at the same company. Before that, they served as a Human Resources Business Partner. Prior to joining SmithFoods, Inc., Cheree worked as a Personal and Professional Development Coach, specializing in intentional change using gestalt coaching. Cheree also has experience as the Managing Director & Owner of GET Automation & Controls, LLC. Cheree's early career includes various roles at The J.M. Smucker Co., such as Manager of Employee Relations, Manager of HR Transformation, and roles in organization development, procurement strategic sourcing, quality assurance, and plant operations.

Cheree Johnston completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Biology & Toxicology from Ashland University between 1997 and 2001. In 2020, they pursued further education at the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland, where they obtained a GPCC certification in 2021. Additionally, they have obtained the ICF Member Badge from the International Coaching Federation in April 2021.
