Adam Denmark is a Science & Technology practice strategist and director of laboratory planning, Adam helps create safer, more sustainable lab environments. He specializes in design for crime labs, medicolegal autopsy facilities, interdisciplinary engineering environments, biocontainment labs, and research facilities. It's quite a different career than the one he almost followed more than 20 years ago - automotive design and engineering - but it's certainly as technologically advanced. "Technology plays an integral role in the way they design and think about architecture now," says Adam. A good example is the New Mexico Office of the Medical Investigator that Adam worked on, the first and largest BSL-3 autopsy facility in North America. Adam is also intrigued by the high- and low-tech aspects of travel. "He likes to experience things that he hasn't before," he explains. "Specifically, he love to ride mass transit in different metropolitan cities to experience how other people get around on a day-to-day basis."
