Alissa Johnson, PharmD, MBA, BCPS

Alissa Johnson, PharmD, MBA, BCPS has a wealth of work experience in the field of pharmacy. Alissa began their career in 2006 as a Pharmacy Resident at University Health System. In 2007, they joined Intermountain Healthcare and held several roles, including System Pharmacy Director, Residency Program Director, Hospital Pharmacy Operations Manager, Advanced Clinical Pharmacist, and Clinical Pharmacist. In 2008, they began working at the University of Utah Health Sciences as Adjunct Faculty in the Department of Pharmacotherapy. In 2018, they became a Pharmacist Account Manager at Magellan Rx Management. Most recently, in 2022, they were appointed as Clinical Strategy Director at SmithRx.

Alissa Johnson, PharmD, MBA, BCPS obtained their Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from the University of Utah in 2006. In 2007, they obtained their Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist certification from the Board of Pharmacy Specialties. In 2015, they completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Utah - David Eccles School of Business. Additionally, in 2016 they completed the Executive Leadership Series from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México.
