Matt Hartzell

Matt Hartzell is the Chief Administrative Officer at Smith & Associates. Prior to their current position, they were the Vice Chairman of the Board at Allegiance Bancshares, Inc. and Independence Bank. Matt has also worked as an Associate and Shareholder at Hirsch & Westheimer P.C., where they represented clients in Commercial Litigation, bankruptcy, trust and estates work, labor claims, real estate, retail, banking and distribution issues.

After graduating from St. John's College with a B.A. in Liberal Arts and Sciences, Matt Hartzell went on to attend the University of Houston Law Center, where they earned their J.D.

Matt Hartzell reports to Robert Ackerley, Founder. Matt Hartzell works with Nick Bedford - Chief Financial Officer, Kirk Wehby - Chief Operating Officer, and Renato Souza - VP, Business Development.
