Ronald Keuning

Ronald Keuning is the Technical Manager at SMS Towage. Ronald has over 14 years of experience in the maritime industry, having worked as Lead Surveyor for Lloyd's Register Marine & Offshore from June 2004 to May 2018. In that role, they were responsible for ensuring the provision of classification, statutory services, and 3rd party inspections on the UK East coast, from Felixstowe up to Scarborough. Ronald also managed the Hull office and led a team of marine surveyors.

Since 2001, Ronald has been a Chartered Engineer and Chartered Marine Engineer. Ronald is also a Fellow of IMarEST and a Member of KNVTS. Ronald currently serves as Honourable Treasurer to the local branch of the IMarEST, which has over 250 members.

Ronald Keuning has a degree in Marine Engineering from the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences. Ronald also has a degree in Marine Engineering from the Hanzehogeschool Groningen / Hanze University of Applied Sciences Groningen. Ronald is currently studying for a degree in Marine Engineering at the NHL Hogeschool.

Ronald Keuning reports to Gareth Escreet, Managing Director. Mathew Biscoe - Vessel Superintendent, Ian Forsyth - Engineering Superintendent, and Chris Smith - Electrical Superintendent report to Ronald Keuning.
