Guy Rom

Guy Rom has extensive work experience in the technology industry, with a focus on engineering and leadership roles. Guy is currently employed as the VP of Engineering at Snackpass, a fast-growing company that combines a consumer app with a focus on restaurants. Prior to that, Guy worked at Upwork as the VP of Engineering, where they managed various teams and implemented cultural behaviors to increase ownership and motivation. Before Upwork, they were the Co-Founder and CEO of LifeSpark, a company that provided parenting education and support. Guy also worked at Facebook as a Senior Engineering Manager, where they played a key role in transitioning the team towards data-driven product development. Additionally, they served as the Acting Director of eBay Payment Products at PayPal, managing a large product development effort. Guy began their career as a UNIX Kernel Software Engineer at Charlotte's Web Networks and as a Software Engineer Intern at IBM Research.

Guy Rom completed their B.A. in Computer Science at Israel Institute of Technology (Technion) from 1998 to 2001. In 2014 and 2015, they obtained a Coaching Certification from New Ventures West. In 2019, they also received a certification in Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging from LinkedIn.
