Irene Sardellitti

Irene Sardellitti has a diverse work experience spanning various companies and roles. Irene is currently the Head of AI & Design Services at Snam S.p.A. since May 2023, after serving as the Head of Architecture, AI, and Digital Services from May 2022 to May 2023. Previously, they held the position of Expert numérique France 2030 at Secretary General for Investment from November 2023. Irene also worked as an Expert EU Commission at the European Commission from January 2023. Irene served as the Vice President of Industrial Activity at I-RIM Istituto di Robotica e Macchine Intelligenti starting from May 2021. Prior to that, they were the Head of Innovation Services at Kilometro Rosso from January 2020 to April 2022 and a Member of the Technical Committee at MADE - Competence Center Industria 4.0 from March 2020 to March 2022. Irene also worked as a Programme Officer - DG Connect at the European Commission from April 2017 to January 2020. Irene served as the CEO & Co-founder of redMint s.r.l. from March 2015 to March 2017. Lastly, Irene started their career as a Researcher in Robotics at IIT - Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia from July 2008 to June 2013, where they specialized in designing control strategies for new actuation systems and the transfer of technology to industries for human-friendly robot manipulators.

Irene Sardellitti completed their education with a PhD in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna in 2008. Irene also pursued studies in Computer Science at Stanford University from 2006 to 2008. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering from Università Campus Bio-Medico di Roma, which they completed between 1999 and 2004. Irene has also obtained several certifications in various subjects from LinkedIn in the year 2024.
