Paul Johnson

Paul Johnson has a diverse work experience in the field of data and analytics. Paul currently holds the role of Principal Consultant & Director, Data & Analytics at Snap Analytics since July 2023. Prior to this, Paul worked as Head of Product at Bobsled, Inc. from September 2022 to May 2023. Before that, they worked at Matillion in various roles including Director of Product from April 2021 to September 2022, Product Manager from December 2019 to April 2021, and Solutions Architect from April 2018 to December 2019. Paul also gained experience at Datalytyx as a Solutions Architect from March 2016 to March 2018 and as a Data Engineer from March 2014 to February 2016. Paul started their career as a Graduate Software Developer at HP Enterprise Services from June 2013 to March 2014.

Paul Johnson attended the University of Portsmouth from 2009 to 2013, where they earned a BSc (Hons) degree in Computer Games Technology. In addition to their university education, they also obtained various certifications throughout their career. Paul obtained the ITIL® FOUNDATION v3 certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice in January 2014. Paul then became a Certified Scrum Master, certified by Scrum Alliance in May 2015. In August 2016, Paul achieved the Solutions Architect - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services. Continuing their professional development, they obtained the Cloud Analytics Master certification from Snowflake in January 2018, followed by the Exam 475: Designing and Implementing Big Data Analytics Solutions certification from Microsoft in February 2018. Paul's latest certification is the Matillion Associate Certification, obtained from Matillion in February 2022.
