Patrick Poels

Patrick Poels is the SVP of Engineering at Snyk. Patrick has over 30 years of experience in the software development industry. Patrick began their career as a software developer and rose through the ranks to become the Vice President of Ticketing Software Development at Ticketmaster Entertainment. In this role, they were responsible for leading a team of 50+ software engineers and QA staff to develop transactions, inventory, and account management systems. Patrick also oversaw the development of the products that formed the backbone of one of the web’s largest transaction sites.

In 2011, Patrick left Ticketmaster to become an advisor at Eventbrite. Patrick remained in this role until 2020 when they joined Snyk as the SVP of Engineering.

They are on a team with Gary Poster - VP, Engineering, Nir Fuchs - VP, Engineering. Their manager is Adi Sharabani, CTO.
