Artificial Intelligence Engineer III at Soar Technologies

Logan Lebanoff has a diverse work experience in the field of computer science and engineering. Logan is currently employed as an Artificial Intelligence Engineer III at Soar Technology, Inc. Since 2017, Logan has been a PhD Student at the University of Central Florida's College of Engineering & Computer Science. During this time, they performed research in text summarization, multi-document summarization, and sentence fusion. Logan also worked as a Research Intern at Adobe in 2019, where they researched methods for incorporating coreference resolution into neural summarization models and contributed several models for summarization and semantic similarity to the Adobe Sensei internal platform. Prior to this, they completed a software developer internship at Wycliffe Associates in 2016, where they helped create an application for translators using JavaScript and ReactJS. Logan also has experience as the Lead Software Developer at CogniTutor, LLC, where they developed and maintained the company's website. Additionally, they were a member of the UCF Programming Team, where they competed in programming contests and coded algorithms relating to graphs, dynamic programming, and data structures. Logan also worked as an Undergraduate Researcher at the UCF Center for Research in Computer Vision (CRCV), focusing on crowd analysis using Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs). Lastly, Logan had a software developer internship at Program Works, Inc., where they developed new features, performed custom development, and conducted maintenance tasks for various projects.

Logan Lebanoff completed their education chronologically as follows. In 2012, they attended Polk State College and earned an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree. Logan then enrolled at the University of Central Florida in 2013, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, which they completed in 2016. Subsequently, Logan continued their education at the University of Central Florida, obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Computer Science in the year 2020.
