What will you be engaged in?
● Strengthen billing and revenue recognition process of all revenue pillars for the Group (local entities in orders to ensure completeness and accuracy in invoicing and revenue without compromising on internal controls
● Regularly review relevancy of accounting treatment and adequacy of required documents for appropriate revenue recognition in accordance with revenue recognition standards and tax regulations. Responsible for accounting and reporting of SST relating to revenue
● Work with cross-functional teams/departments in resolving financial and revenue related issues including collections reporting.
● Evaluate and support Legal Team in contracts/agreements from Revenue recognition perspective
● Engage with business leaders regularly to ensure that the revenue playbook remains relevant
● Responsible for period-end closing for revenue related accounts including the preparation of monthly reconciliations, revenue analysis, journal entries and other activities within the closing period
● Perform monthly reconciliation between revenue recognised vs amount collected
● Support statutory obligations such as audit and tax in relation to revenue
● Aggregate revenue related information for regular/ad hoc reporting as and when required for the interest of management and stakeholders.
● Perform other duties as and when delegated i.e. back up, business process improvement initiatives and ad-hoc projects

● 3-5 years of relevant experience relating to Billing and Finance related areas
● Experience with the Oracle Netsuite system and SQL query language is value added
● Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or other equivalent fields
● Good knowledge and understanding of Malaysia Taxation relating to revenue (i.e. Service tax, corporate tax etc.)
● Attention to detail and meticulous while reconcile revenue
● Creative minded and a problem solver
● Independent and self learner
● Are highly detail-oriented with excellent time management skills
● Strong analytical and organisational skills, with a systematic approach to problems
● Excellent command of Google Office suite, especially Google Sheets
