Carly Farver Mphasa has extensive experience in international development, with a focus on designing and implementing impact evaluations and performance evaluations. Carly has worked with various organizations, including Social Impact and Innovations for Poverty Action. At Social Impact, they held the position of Research Director from April 2023 onwards. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Research Manager from September 2018 to May 2023. During their time at Innovations for Poverty Action, Carly served as the Country Representative and managed multiple donor contracts, expanded the organization's areas of focus, and facilitated research collaborations. Carly also worked as a Senior Research Associate and Consultant. Carly's early experience includes roles at the University of Michigan, where they worked as a Graduate Student Instructor and Research Assistant. Carly has also worked as a Summer Project Associate at Innovations for Poverty Action and held positions at the University of Michigan Ross School of Business, Adventures In Missions, International Rescue Committee, and DAB-St John's Home.

Carly Farver Mphasa pursued their education from 2004 to 2008 at the University of Michigan, where they obtained their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Psychology. Later, from 2012 to 2014, Carly enrolled at the University of Michigan - Rackham Graduate School and successfully completed their Master in Public Policy degree.
