Gregory Koldys has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of business development and democracy advisory. Gregory began their career in 1997 as a Democracy Officer at USAID/Central Asia Regional Office. From 2002 to 2008, they worked as a Senior Democracy Advisor at USAID/Armenia. Following this, they worked as a Business Development Consultant for various organizations for a short duration in 2008. In 2009, they joined International Relief and Development, Inc. (IRD) as the Deputy Chief/Acting Chief of Business Development, where they led the team responsible for capturing new business opportunities and maintaining high revenue. Finally, since 2015, Gregory has been serving as the Vice President of Business Development at Social Impact. Overall, their work experience showcases their expertise in business development, relationship building with clients, and leading teams to secure new business opportunities in various sectors.
Gregory Koldys earned their Ph.D. in International Relations, Post-Soviet Studies, and Political Science from the University of Miami in 1997. Prior to that, they obtained their M.A. in International Development and Comparative and Regional Studies: Russia and Central Eurasia from American University in 1994. In 1990, they completed their undergraduate education at the University of Miami, earning a B.A. with a major in Political Science and minors in Russian and Economics.
