Grant Hubert is an experienced cartographer with a robust background in geospatial data development and map creation. Since October 2014, Grant has worked at Social Studies School Service as the lead cartographer, where contributions include the development of vector and raster geospatial data, the creation of new atlases and maps, and the enhancement of online map content for both desktop and mobile platforms. Prior to this role, Grant served as a cartographic developer at Herff Jones | Nystrom, overseeing the creation of over 200 maps and multiple atlases. Experience as a GIS Analyst at Landpoint, Inc. involved developing large geodatabases for major oil and gas companies, while earlier internship at the Lansing Emergency Management Office provided skills in emergency analysis. Grant holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geographic Information Science and Cartography from Michigan State University.
