Francis Chan

Francis Chan has a diverse work experience spanning several companies.

Francis started working at Salesforce as a Software Engineer in February 2006. Francis'sresponsibilities included specifying, designing, coding, and unit testing ATC software components assigned by the Software Team Leader. Francis also conducted software development tasks involving Air Traffic Control program and product ECRs and PCRs. Francis worked at Salesforce until November 2012, during which time they were promoted to the role of Senior Software Engineer. As a Senior Software Engineer, Francis was responsible for the design and development of the company's products. Francis handled front and back-end system architecture design, database structure design, and business logic abstraction. Francis also played a role in creating team development specifications, coding specifications, and tracking the development process. Additionally, Francis was responsible for writing and standardizing database design documents, system architecture design documents, and data interface documents during the early stages of project development.

In November 2012, Francis joined Cisco as a Senior Software Engineer. Francis continued to have similar responsibilities as at Salesforce, such as designing and developing the company's products, handling system architecture design, and coding. Francis also contributed to creating development specifications and tracking the development process. Francis worked at Cisco until November 2018, during which time they were promoted to the role of Staff Software Engineer in February 2015.

Most recently, Francis joined SocietyOne in September 2019 as the Director of Development. Further details about their role are not provided.

Francis Chan attended The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. After completing their undergraduate studies, they continued their education at the University of California, Berkeley, where they obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science. The duration of their studies at both universities is unknown.
