Marcos Agra-Trillo

Marcos Agra-Trillo is a Senior Software Engineer at Socionext Europe since February 2015, specializing in the development of embedded firmware for various generations of 100G DMT optical transceiver SoC chips and software for chip development kit evaluation boards. Prior to this role, Marcos worked at Fujitsu Semiconductor Europe, focusing on embedded firmware for a 100G DMT optical transceiver SoC test chip. Between 2003 and 2014, Marcos served as a Software Design Engineer at De Beers R&D, developing application software and embedded firmware for scientific instruments. Earlier experience includes work as a Senior Hardware Engineer at Telecom Modus, developing an FPGA for a 3G NodeB Channel card, and as a Design Engineer at Nortel Networks, focusing on embedded firmware and FPGA hardware for telecom switches. Marcos holds a Master of Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Imperial College London, completed between 1993 and 1997.
