Chris Boyle

Chris Boyle has extensive work experience in various engineering and management roles. Chris is currently working as a Principal Engineer at Sock. Prior to that, they were the VP of Engineering at MoneyGeek.com.

In 2021, Chris worked as the Head of Engineering at Karat Financial, where they built and grew the engineering team from 4 to 11 members. Chris also implemented a hiring process and system, and successfully led a re-write and re-architecture project for the company's application.

From 2018 to 2021, Chris held multiple positions at NerdWallet, including Director of Engineering, Senior Engineering Manager, and Engineering Manager. Chris managed consumer-facing teams, transitioned to cross-functional teams, and collaborated with product owners to set roadmaps.

At MyFitnessPal, Chris served as a Senior Engineering Manager, leading the web experience team and later managing the backend services team. Chris also played a key role in modernizing the front-end infrastructure and implementing various tools and systems.

Before joining MyFitnessPal, Chris worked as a Senior Software Engineer at NerdWallet and as a Consultant at Cardinal Solutions. Chris began their career as a Web Developer at Bridge Worldwide, where they worked on major consumer brands and introduced new technologies and platforms.

Throughout their career, Chris has demonstrated strong leadership, team-building, and technical skills, contributing to the success of the companies they have worked for.

Chris Boyle attended Miami University from 2002 to 2006, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
