Ron Yagur

Chief Operating Officer (COO) & VP Engineering at Sodyo

Ron Yagur has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Ron began their career as a MIS Support at Tecnomatix Technologies, where they managed the CRM system and maintained the company's Wide Area Network. Ron then worked as a Quality Assurance Engineer at BackWeb Technologies, designing and executing QA procedures for business development ventures with SAP and IBM. Ron also had a stint as a self-employed Software Development Engineer, where they developed a Linux kernel driver and improved the performance of network communication analyzers.

Moving into the technology sector, Ron joined Motorola Solutions as a Software Development Engineer, leading the design and development of mobile computing systems and GIS mapping solutions. Ron was promoted to Senior Engineering Project Manager and then Senior Engineering Manager, overseeing multi-disciplinary teams and driving the development of innovative solutions generating millions of dollars in revenue. Ron also took on the role of Senior Strategy & Business Development Manager at Motorola, where they developed divisional strategies and identified business opportunities in the healthcare vertical.

In 2015, Ron joined Sodyo as the VP Engineering, where they established the R&D organization and led the conceptualization and development of the company's end-to-end platform. Ron transformed the organization by implementing user-centered design practices and roadmap management methodologies. Ron later became the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and continued to contribute to the company's overall success.

Most recently, Ron has become a Director at ZIMARK, a joint venture between ZIM and Sodyo, focused on logistics and supply chain solutions. The role combines the strengths of both companies to deliver innovative technology solutions.

Throughout their career, Ron has demonstrated their ability to drive innovation, lead diverse teams, and generate revenue through the development of cutting-edge solutions.

Ron Yagur obtained their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Computer Science from The Academic College of Tel-Aviv, Yaffo, where they studied from 1997 to 2000. Ron then pursued a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Business Management at Tel Aviv University from 2011 to 2013. In addition to their formal education, Ron also earned several certifications.
