Vinay Gupta

Vinay Gupta has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Vinay'smost recent position is as the Senior Director of Data Engineering and Governance at SoFi, a position they have held since January 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Amazon as the Head of Data and Analytics Engineering for Alexa Shopping from July 2019 to January 2023. Vinay also served as a Senior Manager of BI and Analytics at Amazon Web Services from April 2017 to July 2019, and as a BI and Analytics Manager from July 2013 to April 2017. Before joining Amazon, Vinay worked as a Data Engineer at Amazon Development Center India (Pvt) Ltd from November 2011 to July 2013. Vinay also has work experience at Royal Bank of Scotland, Fidelity Business Services India Pvt. Ltd, and TCS Limited.

Vinay Gupta completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science & Engineering from Haryana College of Technology and Management, Kurukshetra University from 1998 to 2002. Later, they pursued a Master's degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Finance from IMT Ghaziabad, from 2013 to 2014.
