Weyinmi "Mimi" Barber has a diverse work experience. Weyinmi "Mimi" began their career as an Undergraduate Intern at Chevron in 2007. From 2009 to 2011, they worked as an Information Management Analyst at the Corporate Affairs Commission, where they focused on database administration and information security.
Following that, Barber joined Oando Plc in 2013 and held various roles. As a Human Resources Analyst, they handled HR metrics, reporting, and data analysis, as well as recruitment and payroll management for third-party contract staff. Weyinmi "Mimi" then transitioned to the role of HR Business Support Officer, where they provided support for multiple company offices and was responsible for employee relations and information management.

In 2022, Barber joined GLG as a Human Resources Management Consultant. Currently, they hold the position of VP, People & Culture at Softcom Limited, where they are involved in building products that solve fundamental human problems across various categories.

Weyinmi "Mimi" Barber obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Management for Business Excellence from the University of Warwick in 2011-2012. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Information Resources Management from Babcock University in Ilishan-Remo, Nigeria. Additionally, they have certifications in Inclusive Leadership: Working with Equality & Diversity from Udemy, Change Management from Prosci, Job Evaluation from Korn Ferry, and is pursuing a Senior Professional in Human Resources - International (SPHRi) certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI.
