Reinier Vis

Reinier Vis has a strong background in software consulting and development. Reinier started their career at The Digital Connection in 2001, where they worked as a Web Application Developer until 2006. In 2006, Reinier joined Software Improvement Group (SIG) as an Intern/Researcher, and later transitioned to the role of Technical Consultant in October 2007. Reinier demonstrated their expertise and leadership skills, eventually becoming the Head of Software Consultants in April 2016, a position they currently hold.

Reinier Vis has a Master of Science degree in Software Technology from Utrecht University, which they obtained from 2004 to 2007. Prior to that, they obtained a B ICT degree in Hogere Informatica from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht (Hogeschool Utrecht) from 2000 to 2004. In addition to their formal education, Reinier Vis has also obtained various certifications including Advanced Management Training Program from Eazl.co in January 2018, Influencer from VitalSmarts in November 2016, Certified Penetration Testing Engineer (CPTE) and Certified Professional Ethical Hacker (CPEH) from Mile2 in October and September 2014 respectively. Furthermore, they obtained Principles of Reactive Programming certification from Coursera in January 2014, followed by Functional Programming Principles in Scala certification from Coursera in November 2013. Reinier also holds a Professional Scrum Master I certification from Scrum.org obtained in April 2011 and a Sun Certified Java Programmer certification from Sun Microsystems earned in December 2008.
