Hugo Schoonewille has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles.

Hugo began their career as a PHP Developer at Webtechniek, where they worked on various projects and gained expertise in PHP, JavaScript/AJAX, CSS, HTML, and XML.

Hugo then interned at Exact, focusing on User Experience research and usability testing.

At Leiden University, they served as a Workgroup Teacher, leading and guiding students in educational settings.

Hugo joined JoHo Foundation as a Web Developer & Administrator, where they contributed to website restructuring and redevelopment. Hugo also took on roles as a Coordinator of Study and Coordinator of Online Study, leading colleagues and overseeing the writing and publishing of summaries.

Afterwards, they worked at Aquamania as a Trainer, providing training services in a dynamic environment.

Hugo joined Delta Lloyd as a Jr. Frontend Java Specialist and later as a Frontend Java Specialist, where they were responsible for the Mijn Delta Lloyd project and delivering solid code.

In these roles, they provided technical expertise and advice to clients, conducted assessments, and trained new colleagues.

Hugo Schoonewille has a strong educational background with a focus on psychology and computer science. Hugo earned their VWO degree in N&T from Christelijk Lyceum Delft in 2006. Subsequently, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with minors in Psychology and Philosophy from Leiden University, graduating in 2010. Hugo furthered their studies at Leiden University and obtained a Master's degree in Applied Cognitive Psychology in 2014. Additionally, in 2018, they obtained a Mendix Rapid Developer certification from Mendix.
