Brandon Cook is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in commercial lending and community development. Currently serving as a Senior Community Development Officer at SELF since October 2023, Brandon previously held the position of Commercial Loan Officer at Merchants Commercial Bank, managing a $50MM loan portfolio and originating loans up to $7MM. Prior to that, Brandon worked as a Senior Financial Analyst at EduK Group, where responsibility included leading forecasting and budgeting processes for a $200MM business. Additional roles include Risk Officer at Grupo Financiero de Occidente and Associate at GE Capital, with a focus on distressed asset management. Brandon's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Virginia and an MBA in Finance from American University, complemented by a graduate exchange program at FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas.
