Diana Marcela Cardenas Gonzalez, MSc has several years of experience in the field of process engineering. Diana Marcela began their career as a Process Engineer Contractor for Ecopetrol at SNC-Lavalin Engineers & Constructors from September 2011 to January 2014. During this time, they provided technical support for Ecopetrol's non-thermal EOR facilities and designed documents for conceptual, basic, and FEED engineering for pilot projects in different fields.

Diana Marcela then worked as a Process Engineer Contractor for Ecopetrol at ILP Ingenieria from February 2014 to February 2016. Here, they provided technical support for non-thermal EOR facilities and developed assurance documents for an engineering company with different scopes.

From August 2016 to February 2018, Diana worked as a Project Engineer Contractor for Cepsa at Aci Proyectos. Their role included providing business development support, managing order services, coordinating supplies, and overseeing engineering and construction supervision duties.

In February 2018, Diana joined SERINGTEC S.A.S. as a Process Engineer Contractor for Ecopetrol. Diana Marcela worked in this role for six months before transitioning to SUMMUM in August 2018. At SUMMUM, they held the position of Semi Senior Project Engineer until November 2021. During their time at SUMMUM, Diana developed process engineering solutions for clients such as Ocensa, Promigas, and Oxy. Diana Marcela also designed various engineering documents, including reports, equipment sizing, PFDs, P&IDs, and utility flow diagrams.

Currently, Diana is working at Solaris MCI as a Project Coordinator, a position they assumed in November 2022.

Diana Marcela Cardenas Gonzalez, MSc has a diverse educational background in the field of energy management and chemical engineering. Diana Marcela started their educational journey in 2006 at the Universidad de América, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering and successfully completed the program in 2011.

In 2011, Diana furthered their education by enrolling at the Universidad de América as an Especialista en Gerencia de la Calidad (Specialist in Quality Management) and completed the program in 2012.

Seeking to enhance their knowledge and expertise in the petrochemical industry, Diana enrolled at the Universidad Nacional de San Martín in 2014. During their time there, they pursued specialized studies in the petrochemical industry and successfully completed their degree in 2016.

In 2021, Diana embarked on a new academic journey by pursuing a Master's degree in Energy Management at the New York Institute of Technology - Vancouver. Diana Marcela successfully completed the program in 2022.

To further validate their academic qualifications, Diana obtained the Verified International Academic Qualifications certificate from World Education Services in December 2022. Additionally, they obtained a Master of Science in Energy Management certificate from the New York Institute of Technology - Vancouver in September 2022.
