Felix Gottwald

Felix Gottwald has a diverse range of work experience in the field of electrical engineering and research. Felix is currently working at SOLARWATT Germany as the Head of R&D Electronics, a role they started in December 2021. Prior to this, they worked at the same company as a Hardware Development Engineer from November 2015 to April 2022.

Before joining SOLARWATT Germany, Felix worked at the University of Applied Sciences Dresden / Laboratory Electric Mobility as a Scientific Staff and Electrical Design Engineer from October 2011 to November 2015. Felix also gained research experience as a Research Assistant at SBW Sachsen Solar GmbH from January 2011 to October 2011.

Felix began their career in research at the Fraunhofer Institute for Organic Electronics, Electron Beam and Plasma Technology FEP, where they worked as a Research Assistant from January 2008 to December 2009. Felix then joined the Fraunhofer Institute for Integrated Circuits IIS, Design Automation Division EAS as a Research Assistant from September 2006 to December 2007.

Felix Gottwald pursued their education in the field of Electrical Engineering. Felix earned a Bachelor's equivalent degree, Diplom-Ingenieur, with a specialization in Computer Systems Engineering from Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft. Felix attended this institution from 2006 to 2011. Subsequently, Felix Gottwald pursued a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Electric Energy Supplies from the same institution, Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft. Felix completed their Master's degree program from 2011 to 2013.
