Thomas Kuehn

Thomas Kuehn has extensive work experience in various industries. From 2021 onwards, they served as the Head of Installation at SOLARWATT Germany, responsible for establishing installation sites throughout Germany. Thomas also managed operations at the Dresden and Mitteldeutschland locations, overseeing various departments such as logistics, electrical installation, and scaffold construction.

Prior to this role, from 2018 to 2020, Thomas worked at Deutsche Accumotive GmbH & Co. KG, where they were involved in the production and planning of Mercedes Benz batteries for the EQC series. Thomas handled production planning, equipment acceptance, budget planning, and ensured a smooth transition to production.

Starting from 2009 until 2018, Thomas held a position as a Principal Technician at GLOBALFOUNDRIES. In this role, they served as a shift leader responsible for the maintenance of the entire transport system, including transport vehicles, storage robots, and sorting machines. Thomas also supervised apprentice training and implemented workplace organization and design methods.

Before joining GLOBALFOUNDRIES, Thomas worked as a Factory Automation Technican 2 at AMD from 2006 to 2009. Thomas gained experience in factory automation systems during this time.

From 2004 to 2006, they were an Instandhalter (maintenance technician) for measurement technology systems at Infineon Technologies. Prior to that, they held positions at Ortner CLS GmbH as an Instandhalter/Supervisor for cleanroom transport and automation systems from 2003 to 2004 and as a Fachmonteur (specialized installer) for these systems from 2001 to 2003.

Thomas Kuehn completed their education at Studiengemeinschaft Darmstadt GmbH from 2008 to 2011, where they obtained a degree in Geprüfter Industriemeister Elektrotechnik. Prior to that, they attended Energie Sachsen Brandenburg AG - Ausbildungsstätte Calau from 1997 to 2001 and completed a degree in Energieelektroniker, Fachrichtung Betriebstechnik.
