Cyril Jose Bajamundi

Cyril Jose Bajamundi has a diverse work experience. Cyril Jose started their career in 2006 as an Instructor at the Department of Chemical Engineering University of the Philippines Diliman. Cyril Jose then became an Assistant Professor I at the same institution, where they were an active member of the Curriculum Committee and advocated for the use of Matlab as the main programming language for Chemical Engineering. In 2011, Cyril joined VTT as a Research Scientist, where they focused on various studies including Dioxin and Furan Formation, Destruction, and Prevention. Cyril Jose was later promoted to the role of Senior Scientist. In 2019, Cyril became the Chief Technology Officer at Soletair Power.

Cyril Jose Bajamundi completed their education with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of the Philippines between 2001 and 2006. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Chemical Engineering at the same university, from 2006 to 2010. Their field of study during this time is not specified. From 2011 to 2015, Cyril Jose Bajamundi attended the University of Jyväskylä, where they obtained a PhD in Thermodynamic modeling of ash forming elements and corrosion.
