Xiaokun Xu

Xiaokun Xu has worked in the software development industry since 2012. From 2012-2014, they worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Ottawa, leveraging their advanced education to perform hands-on research and software development. From 2014-2015, they were a Graphic Designer at Ottawa Weekend Media Inc., designing advertisements for clients using Adobe Photoshop and InDesign. From 2015-2016, they were a Front End Designer/Developer at Lokafy, redesigning and implementing user experience using HTML, CSS, Bootstrap and AngularJS. From 2016-2018, they were a Front End and Mobile Application Developer at Soulfx Technologies, implementing front end features and responsive user interface for web applications using Angular, Sass and HTML. Currently, they are a Senior Front-end Developer and Software Developer at Solink.

Xiaokun Xu obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Information Engineering from South China University of Technology between 2007 and 2011. Xiaokun then went on to receive a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Ottawa between 2012 and 2014.
