Kaj Kangasmäki

Kaj Kangasmäki has extensive experience in various leadership roles within the renewable energy sector. Kaj is currently serving as a Member of the Board of Directors and CEO of Solnet Group, a company that provides utility-scale Smart Solar and IoT solutions. Kaj is also the Chairman of the Board for Solnet Group, where they have been in a leadership position since 2017.

Kangasmäki is also a Founding Partner of REcapital Oy, a company they founded in 2021. Prior to this, they were the CEO and Founding Partner of Solnet Green Energy Oy, a leading Finnish company offering solar energy solutions for both B2B and B2C customers. During their tenure at Solnet Green Energy, they were responsible for financing, hardware manufacturing, installations, and repairs, and helped to install over 20% of the grid-connected PV capacity in Finland.

In addition to their work in the renewable energy sector, Kangasmäki has also held various roles at Tieto, a business software and service company. Kaj served as a Customer Executive, Senior Sales Manager, Financial Manager, Customer Manager, Development Manager, and Project Manager and Consultant during their time at Tieto.

Furthermore, Kangasmäki has experience in the technology industry, having served as Chairman of the Board for Mobile Backstage, a company that facilitates artist-fan engagement through fan communities in web, Facebook, and mobile platforms. Kaj was also a member of the board for Mobile Backstage.
