🐙Benjamin Leggett

Benjamin Leggett has worked in various software engineering roles since 2009. 🐙Benjamin began their career as an Undergrad CS Tutor at Southern Polytechnic State University in 2009, followed by an IT Intern role at NCR Corporation in 2010. In 2011, they joined ProfitStars as a Software Engineer, then moved to Senior Software Engineer in the same company. In 2016, they joined Strategic Systems & Technology Corporation as a Senior Software Engineer/DevOps and Senior Software Engineer, where they owned SST’s Kubernetes clusters and streamlined the software testing, deployment, and CI process using Docker, Kubernetes, and scripted deployments. In 2017, they joined T-Mobile as a Principal Software Engineer, where they designed and administered a completely new set of software engineer hiring rubrics, evaluations, and processes for hiring software engineers across all of T-Mobile. In 2020, they joined Virtru as a Staff Software Engineer, where they developed various initiatives around Kubernetes workload identity, SPIFFE/SPIRE, Istio, ABAC, multi-entity authorization, PE+NPE auth. 🐙Benjamin also contributed design and code to Virtru's OSS products and SDKs (C++, Python). Finally, in 2023, they joined solo.io as a Software Engineer, OSS.

Benjamin Leggett attended Gainesville State College from 2005 to 2008, graduating with an Associate degree in Computer Science. 🐙Benjamin then attended Southern Polytechnic State University from 2008 to 2011, graduating with a Bachelor degree in Software Engineering.
