Xavier Lara

Xavier Lara serves as the Chief Technology Officer at SolStor Energy LLC since June 2023, focusing on Long Duration Energy Storage solutions. Concurrently, Xavier is the Chief Executive Officer of AELIUS Energies SLU, which specializes in Project Development for battery storage parks and electrical generation projects. In addition, Xavier is CEO of Santa Cruz Termosolar and serves as a European Climate Pact Ambassador, promoting decarbonization and renewable energy initiatives. Former experience includes roles as Renewable Energy International Senior Consultant at the Asian Development Bank, Business Development Director for Battery Energy Storage Systems at Pacific Green Technologies, and several senior positions within Empresarios Agrupados. Xavier holds a Bachelor of Science in Astronomy and a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering.
