Jayanth Vemula

Jayanth Vemula has a diverse work experience history. Jayanth currently works at Solugen as a Process Engineer as part of their Technology Rotational Development Program. Prior to that, they worked as a Quality Manager at Epic.

Jayanth's earlier experience includes a role as a Research Assistant at the University of South Carolina, where they collaborated with a team to analyze compiled data and construct professional papers that were published in respected journals. At WestRock Company, they served as a Process Engineering Co-op, responsible for testing paper consistency and analyzing data for future reference.

Jayanth also gained experience as a Process Supply Engineering Intern at Nephron Pharmaceuticals, where they worked on a manufacturing line and conducted tests on plastic containers. Additionally, they served as a SusWEF REU Researcher at the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez, working in the Chemical Engineering department and conducting experiments on biomass systems to create polymers in a cost-effective way.

Prior to their professional roles, Jayanth worked as a Tutor at Kumon North America, Inc. Overall, their work experience spans various industries and roles, showcasing their adaptability and diverse skill set.

Jayanth Vemula earned a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of South Carolina. Jayanth attended the university from 2017 to 2021. In May 2018, Jayanth obtained a certification in the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative from the University of South Carolina.
