Pu Chen

Pu Chen began their work experience in 1994 as a Regional Technical Director at Rhodia Asia Pacific, where they were responsible for new product development and technical service. Pu later served as the Regional Business Director before moving to Rhodia Inc. USA in 2004, where they became the Global Business Director for Coating. In 2008, Chen joined Solvay as the Vice President and General Manager of Solvay/Rhodia Novecare Asia Pacific. Pu then held various leadership roles within Solvay, including Vice President of Global Markets and Senior Executive VP of the Global Oil & Gas Market. Most recently, Chen has served as the President of the Technology Solutions Global Business Unit and the Oil & Gas Global Business Unit at Solvay.

Pu Chen earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Organic Chemistry from the National University of Singapore between 1987 and 1991. Additionally, Pu Chen obtained an MBA degree in Business Administration, Management and Operations from the University of Surrey from 1998 to 1999.
